These Terms and Conditions govern sales made on the CleariaHome website. They define the rights and obligations between CleariaHome and any consumer placing an order on the website.

These Terms and Conditions apply to any order placed by a consumer through the website www.cleariahome.com.

Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Although the business is based in Canada, customers located in the United Kingdom benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in their country of residence.


3. Products

The products sold on CleariaHome are home storage, organisation and space optimisation solutions, including:

kitchen storage;
bathroom storage;
wardrobe organisers;
small-space storage;
entryway storage;
shoe storage;
utility room accessories;
boxes, baskets, racks and home organisers.

Product images are provided for illustration purposes. Slight differences may exist between the images displayed and the product received, particularly due to lighting, screen settings or production batches.


4. Prices

Product prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) for the UK market.

Depending on the customer’s location and the applicable rules, prices may be displayed including applicable taxes when required.

Delivery fees are clearly shown before final order confirmation.

CleariaHome reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The applicable price is the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.


5. Payment

Payments are secure and can be made using the payment methods available at checkout.

Depending on the options enabled on the store, payment methods may include:

CleariaHome does not store any banking data.


6. Orders

The customer can place an order directly on the CleariaHome website by selecting the desired products, adding them to the basket and confirming delivery and payment information.

Before final confirmation, the customer can check the details of their order, the total price, applicable delivery fees and correct any errors.

After payment confirmation, an order confirmation email is sent to the email address provided by the customer.

CleariaHome reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of suspected fraud, obvious error, abnormal request, ongoing dispute or product unavailability.


7. Delivery

Products are shipped from different logistics centres or partners, located in Europe, Asia or other regions, depending on product availability.

For the United Kingdom, delivery conditions are as follows:

standard delivery: £5.90;
free delivery from £50;
estimated delivery time: 6 to 12 working days after dispatch.

Orders are generally prepared within 1 to 2 working days.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on:

the carrier;
product availability;
logistics conditions;
periods of high activity;
customs or import formalities where applicable.

Unless a different timeframe is clearly stated at the time of purchase, delivery should take place no later than 30 days after the order has been confirmed.

Each order benefits from delivery tracking when available. The tracking number is sent to the customer after dispatch.


8. Taxes and import duties

For products shipped from outside the United Kingdom, taxes, import duties or administrative fees may apply depending on local regulations.

For UK deliveries, any such fees depend on the relevant authorities, customs rules and the shipping method used.

When these fees are not included in the displayed price or delivery fees, they may remain the customer’s responsibility.


9. Cancellation rights and returns

For online purchases in the United Kingdom, consumers generally have a legal right to cancel their order within 14 days after receiving the goods, unless an exception applies.

As a commercial gesture, CleariaHome extends the return period to 30 days from the date of delivery, subject to the return conditions stated in the returns policy.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be:

unused;
complete;
in its original packaging where possible;
in a condition suitable for resale.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in the case of a defective product, a non-compliant product or a preparation error on our part.

No return should be sent without prior approval from customer service.


10. Refunds

After the returned product has been received and checked, the refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the order, unless otherwise agreed with the customer.

Where the customer exercises their cancellation right, the refund will be processed without undue delay and within the timeframe required by applicable law.

CleariaHome may wait until the returned product has been received, or until the customer has provided proof of return shipment, before issuing the refund.

CleariaHome does not charge any restocking fees.


11. Legal guarantees and product issues

Customers benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in their country of residence.

If a product is defective, non-compliant or presents an issue upon receipt, the customer may contact customer service so that an appropriate solution can be offered.

Depending on the situation, this solution may include:

a replacement;
a new shipment;
a repair where possible;
or a refund.


12. Products excluded from returns

Some products cannot be returned, particularly where they cannot be returned for hygiene, safety or health protection reasons if they have been opened, used or unsealed after delivery.

This may include products that are incomplete, damaged, used abnormally or no longer resellable for hygiene or safety reasons.


13. Force majeure

CleariaHome cannot be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform resulting from an event beyond its control, including:

natural disaster;
strike;
logistics disruption;
customs issue;
transport service disruption;
exceptional event affecting the supply chain.


14. Fraud and abuse prevention

CleariaHome reserves the right to refuse an order, return or refund in cases of obvious abuse, fraud, repeated unjustified requests, incorrect information or behaviour intended to bypass these Terms and Conditions.
